Welsh Talbot Vase on a large plinth
The original urn is one of a pair from Margham Park made for Lord Talbot of Port Talbot Steel Works, Swansea. They were probably copied from a French design. They were some of the first vases to be made from the newly discovered Portland Cement, circa 1815-1820.
